Tweecal brings Steal Deals
Tweecal is happy to fetch and organize all the deals posted on twitter. You can call it a deal engine that scours twitter for deals information and fetches those. As you are aware that some of good deals expire sooner than published and we make sure that fresh deals are fetched everyday.
We will approach local businesses and get to come on board to push their deals and coupons on Tweecal. We are in the process of talking to them and building local deal search. So you can just look up for deals/coupons right in your neighborhood. We will publish all updates if any, so check back often!!
Not Global but Local rules
People love to know things happening around them. They are happy if there is something selling around their place, some want to find jobs in and around their area or max that location must be atleast driving distance from their place. With this in mind, I started working on something that people may like to use. The result is http://local.tweecal.com
Listen and tweet locally. Get to know people around you who may have same interests. You may not know a family or home based business that produces good stuff right under your nose. You may also get information of when and where a close out happens, whats the hottest deal near you etc.
This is just a start but you will see many more features rolling in “ASAP”

Why the vibrant green and black on Tweecal?
I wanted the colors to be vibrant and fresh. Ever tasted the lime with pepper and salt?
Whenever you feel lazy and slacking, a glass of lemonade makes your thirst go away and keep you fresh. This is the main idea behind having prominent green+black vibrant colors. Put in a shade of blue as it blends well.
So no more getting bored when you are on Tweecal. Give it a try and you will feel fresh and rejuvenating
Ah the good feeling
I just released Tweecal somewhere at 5pm CST. Sent out messages to anxious job seekers on twitter to give it a try and let me their feedback on this application. Keeping fingers crossed as i have put in lot of time and effort plus my meager personal funds into this. Rimu Hosting folks helped me set up this dedicated server. A big shout to them!!!!
Personally started soliciting users to give it a try…and i did manage to get some users to try and felt happy when these two wonderful people said kind pleasant words
Hey i am not lying, its genuine!! go ahead and look here

A big thanks you note to these two wonderful early users who have kind words for tweecal
Why Tweecal?
Ah Twitter is a store house of data and its potential is yet untapped. I personally feel the need to harness Twitter power effectively and efficiently. People are more interested in knowing local stuff or things that are closer to their heart or things that happens right in their neighborhood. So one day hit upon a plan to introduce “TWEECAL“. Tweecal is more of Tweets that are local or Tweet+Locally.
This is a small effort to organize things that are cluttered on Twitter. In this current economy where the economy has gone for a toss and unemployment soaring at 10%+, there is a need for everyone to get a job to pay their mortages, credit card bills et al on time. But the entire thing is chaotic and Tweecal attempts to organize and fetch jobs from all over the place and put them in one place where users can search jobs based on their constraints like location of the job posting and/or on their skillsets. Well this is just a start, so got to see if things turn out to be a rich experience!!
